GMP to Interrupt Service in Ryegate Area at 2 a.m. Thursday

Crews Need to Make Emergency Repairs

COLCHESTER, VT...Green Mountain Power will interrupt electric service to 750 customers in the Ryegate area for approximately five minutes, beginning at 2 a.m. Thursday, May 7.

The area affected includes all of Wells River Village, eastern sections of Ryegate on both sides of the I-91 corridor, the northern section of Newbury on both sides of the I-91 corridor, and sections of Newbury along Route 5 south of Wells River Village.

 The outage is necessary to provide safe working conditions while GMP crews perform necessary work.
In case of inclement weather, the outage will be postponed until the next day, Friday, May 8, at the same time.
